Virtual Fit

The fitting room, built into the product page.

See how it could look. Understand how it may fit.

Combine a shopper fit profile with garment construction, declared fabric behaviour, and brand-specific sizing to deliver visual try-on and explainable fit guidance before checkout.

Take two or three guided photos, choose a garment, and see an illustrative virtual try-on informed by the garment’s style, construction and fabric behaviour. Virtual Fit is being developed to help shoppers understand how clothing may look and fit before purchase.

A patent application relating to aspects of Virtual Fit is currently under review.

  1. 01Add reference views

    Add reference views

In the intended product a shopper adds two or three guided reference photos. Nothing is added here: the illustration above shows that stage only.

  2. 02Choose a garment

    Choose a garment

A shopper picks an item from a retailer catalogue. Here a fictional emerald silk dress is being considered.

  3. 03Preview it on you

    Preview it on you

An illustration of the intended outcome: the same garment shown on the same person. This corporate page renders an illustration, not a generated result.

  4. 04Understand the fit

    Understand the fit

Fictional area-by-area guidance with declared fabric behaviour, kept deliberately restrained.

Illustrative intended workflow. No photographs are uploaded or analysed on this page, and fit is not guaranteed.

What it does

  • A reusable fit profile

Carry fit preferences into a calmer shopping decision.

  • Garment intelligence

Interpret construction, fabric behaviour, and brand-specific sizing together across supported garments in a retailer's catalogue.

  • Explainable guidance

See a recommended size and understand the intended fit across shoulders, waist, length, and drape.

How it works

  1. 01

    Profile

The planned capture experience is designed around two guided reference photos, with an optional third, which will build the shopper's reusable fit profile.

  2. 02

    Garment and fabric intelligence

Construction, fabric behaviour, and brand sizing are read together.

  3. 03

    Visual try-on and fit guidance

A recommended size arrives with area-by-area explanation.
